A memorial service for Frederick Dale Parks, 79, of Butler, will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the service hour. Burial will be private. Mr. Parks passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Columbus. He was a mason with the Fickling Masonic Lodge #129 and a former Taylor County Commissioner.

Survivors include his son, Fred Parks (Amber) of Butler; one grandson, Jonathan Parks and numerous nieces and nephews which he loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evangel Temple Assembly of God, MAPS Missionary Construction Fund, 5350 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904.
