Funeral services for James E. Wilhoite, 72, of Reynolds, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Mr. Wilhoite passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at his residence.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church and had taught Sunday school for many years.  He was employed with Flint Energies for 33 years and worked with Taylor County EMS for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wilhoite of Reynolds; his children, Teresa Pressley (Justin) of Reynolds, Kim Carpenter (Clifford) of Reynolds and Tim Wilhoite (Melissa) of Murfreesboro, TN; three sisters, Barbara Jean Windham (Ralph) of Butler, Jo Ann Youngblood of Americus and Effie Lloyd (Charles)  of Americus; seven grandchildren, Dianna Mattison (Brent), Jessica New, Whitney New, Cody Carpenter, Cora Carpenter, Marissa Wilhoite and Mason Wilhoite; four great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Mt. Olive Ladies Aid, 1055 Tommy Purvis, Jr. Road, Reynolds, GA 31076.
