Funeral services for Mary Alice “Bot” Barrow Nicholson, 66, of Butler, will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Butler.  Burial will follow in Butler Memorial Cemetery.  Mrs. Nicholson passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Early County.  She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.   She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. Barrow and Iris Robinson Barrow; her husband, John Nicholson; a daughter, Kimberly Lynn Brand;  two brothers, Melvin Barrow and John Barrow.

Survivors include her son, Lamar Brand (Leigh Ann) of Blakely; four brothers, Bo Barrow (Ann) of Butler, Homer Barrow (Joyce) of Butler, Jesse Barrow (Nita) of Butler, LaRoy Barrow (Londi) of Reynolds; four grandchildren, Savannah Hall of Blakely, Carmen Brand, of Houma, LA, Marlee Brand and Louise Brand of Blakely; step-daughters, Kathy Law of Union Springs, AL and Karen Mote of Union Springs, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the First Baptist Church.
