Graveside services for Oscar Lewis Smith, 82, of Butler, will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his residence.  He drove heavy duty equipment all his life and took great pride in his work. He had a positive attitude and was always smiling. You never would hear him say anything bad.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Elma Smith; sister, Edith Smith and brother, James T. Smith.

Survivors include one sister, Louise Wall of Mauk; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 at the home of Steve Smith, 1242 Wesley Church Road, Butler, GA 31006.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Wesley United Methodist Church, o/o Eloise Doty, 670 West Old Wire Road, Butler, GA  31006.
