Funeral services for Otis B. Meredith, Jr., 76, of Butler, will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church.     Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Mr. Meredith passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Upson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and was a Mason and a Shriner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Byron Meredith, Sr. and Margie Wyre Meredith.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Meredith of Butler; one son, Byron Meredith (Martin Keefer) of Savannah; one daughter, Penny Meredith (Michael Thompson) of Byron; three grandchildren, Christy Haley, Sara Pattison and Chip Pogue; four great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Masons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
