Steven Russell “Rusty” Hamrick, Jr., 38, of Reynolds passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017.  He was a member of TVL Squad, Musella Baptist Church, Teamsters Union, and he enjoyed time on the Flint River, tinkering with cars and was an expert vapor.  He loved music, played the guitar and drums, and was a member of the Knee Deep Band.  He was employed with YRC Freight, Macon, GA.

He is survived by his daughter, Emma Hamrick of Roberta; his father and step-mother Steven Russell Hamrick, Sr. and Treeasian Hinton; his mother and step-father, Bonnice Harris Lane and Stan Lane of Hartsville, SC; four sisters, Melanie Wilkinson of Byron, Michelle Hamrick of Knoxville, Christina Lane of Hartsville, SC and Nikki Hamrick of Grand Forks, N.D.; step-brother, Craig Montgomery of Reynolds; step-sister, Tessa Green of Albany; maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Gay of Macon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
