Memorial services for Charles H. “Chuck” Wade, 72, of Butler will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial will be private.
Chuck passed away on November 27, 2018 at his residence.
Chuck was a member of First Baptist Church of Butler and Kiwanis Club of Taylor County. He is a retired Lt. Colonel with the National Guard. He was a volunteer and passionate supporter of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association.
Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Henry Wade, Sr and Mable Tison Wade.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Wade of Hahira and Rhett Wade (Lisa) of Midland; one brother, Bob Wade (Brenda) of Butler; one nephew, Bryan Wade (Rebecca) of Butler; and four grandchildren, Dylan Wade of Midland, Lauryn Wade of Midland, Ellie Scott Wade of Hahira and Connor Wade of Hahira.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 until 11 at First Baptist Church.
