Helen Mae Grimsley

Helen Mae Allen Grimsley was born December 21, 1938 to the late Myrtle Wainwright Allen and Neal Allen Sr. She passed at Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice Care, in Perry Georgia on March 7, 2019.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Curtis Grimsley of Butler; three sons, Wayne (Rachel) Grimsley of Butler, Dennis (Carmen) Grimsley of Reynolds, and Alex (Lori) Grimsley of Macon; one daughter, Tina (Scott) Duncan of Butler; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Helen worked many years in the textile industries. She was a loving wife, mama, mawmaw and friend to all that knew her. She loved to cook and care for others.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Graveside Services will be held at Crowell United Methodist Church Cemetery at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have donations made to Heart of Georgia Hospice of Perry, GA.
