Martha Elizabeth Wainwright

Funeral services for Martha Elizabeth Wainwright, 77, of Reynolds, will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Home, Reynolds.  Visitation will be held from 1:30 until the funeral hour.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Wainwright passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville.  She is now at home with her Heavenly Father.  A Godly woman, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She instilled Christian values to all she met.  She was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center in Oglethorpe.  She enjoyed the outdoors especially gardening and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Bloodworth and Minnie Davis Bloodworth.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, James T. Wainwright of Reynolds; two daughters, Sylvia Harris of Butler and Charlotte Moulton (Linnie) of Reynolds; two brothers, Edward Bloodworth of Butler and Emory Bloodworth (Geraldine) of Alabama; one sister, Ella Mae Alexander of Meansville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of choice.

McLeighton Funeral Service of Reynolds is in charge of arrangements.
