Walter Teat Obituary

After a long battle with health issues Walter Wesley Teat ,87, of Butler passed away on December 8, 2019. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Teat served in the Army for 15 years and retired as a disabled veteran. While serving our country in the Korean War, he received the purple heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley Teat and Eula Mae Anthony Teat; two sons, Benjamin F. Teat and William Richard (Ricky) Teat.

Survivors include his wife Thelma Teat of Butler; four daughters, Donna Robinson of Butler, Sandra Heinkel (Douglas) of FL, Amanda Sue Teat of Phenix City and Buffy Teat of Butler; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
