Carl Raburn Obituary
Graveside services for Carl Raburn, 76, of Oglethorpe will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens. The family will receive one hour prior to the service. Carl passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howell Lee Raburn and Jennie Joiner Raburn; his wife, Marlene Hall Raburn; a son, Howard Carl Raburn, Jr.; his twin brother, Carroll Raburn; and a sister, Jeannette Crook.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Odom (Kenny) of Oglethorpe and Amy Raburn Johnson of Oglethorpe; one sister, Julia Harris of Butler; three grandchildren, Katie Odom, Bailee Johnson and Madison Johnson; his companion, Gail Bone; a host of nieces and nephews and his dog, Sadie.
Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Bellew, Ray Tiencken, Carl Adams, Roy Fountain, Frank Gassett, Floyd Rooks, Ronald Tarrer, Charles Cannon, Tom Fowler, Homer Barrow, Larry Cromer and Tommy Albritton.
