Dorothy (Bryant) Culverhouse

A private funeral service for Dorothy Lee Bryant Culverhouse, 90, of Butler will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at Horeb Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. Mrs. Culverhouse passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home.

 Mrs. Culverhouse was a member of Horeb Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as a member of the Horeb Choir. A graduate of the Business Training Institute in Macon, she was a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins for several years.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Cora Flowers Bryant, and her sister, Jeannie Parks.

 Survivors include her husband, Edward Douglas “Jack” Culverhouse, Sr., of Butler (married on November 5, 1949); her son, Dr. Edward Douglas “Doug” Culverhouse, Jr. (Peggy), of Fort Valley; her two granddaughters, Ashlee Culverhouse Cleveland (Tom) of Fort Valley and Baylee Culverhouse of Atlanta; her sister, Eloise Culverhouse of Macon; two brothers, James Bryant and Lee Roy Bryant of Ellaville; and several nieces and nephews.
