Eddie Burgamy, Jr.

  Eddie Roy Burgamy, Jr., age 76, passed away on October 21, 2022. Eddie was a native of Irwinton, but he had lived in Butler for more than 40 years.

  Eddie is survived by his wife Ellen Eubanks Burgamy and daughter Holly (Shane) Albritton, as well as grandchildren Carter and Caroline Albritton. He also leaves Ellen’s daughters Julie Cox and Jolie (Chad) Ledger and their children Russell and Kristin Cox and Chase and Cade Ledger. He is survived by his brother Mike (Debbie) Burgamy and sister-in-law Donna Burgamy.

  He was predeceased by his parents Eddie Roy and Evangeline Davidson Burgamy, grandparents Eddie Bate and Effie Reynolds Burgamy and James Lee and Lucille Green Davidson, brother Jimmy Burgamy and son-in-law Todd Cox.  Eddie was a 1964 graduate of Wilkinson County High School and graduated from Georgia College at Milledgeville. He owned and operated a welding/machine shop in Butler. He was a member of Butler United Methodist Church.

 The memorial service will be at Butler United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 27^th at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will from 1:00 to 2:00 preceding the memorial service.  Donations may to made to The Golden Rule, 766 Parks Road, Mauk, GA 31058, Butler United Methodist Church, 300 E.
