Eric Baggarley

Eric Baggarley, 64, of Roberta, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Crawford County, Eric was a 1979 graduate of Crawford County High School. He later earned his master’s degree from Georgia Southwestern in Americus and dedicated his career to education, retiring from the Peach County School District after many years of teaching and shaping young lives.

Eric was a member of First Evangelical Church of Macon. He loved music, and it was a constant source of joy throughout his life. Known for his warm heart, easy laughter, and gift for connecting with people, he never met a stranger. He cherished his family deeply and found happiness in making others smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Katherine Higgins Baggarley.

Eric is survived by his wife of 33 years, Stephanie Baggarley of Roberta; his son, Lance Baggarley of Roberta; his brother, Michael Baggarley of Ft. Valley; and four nieces.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home.
