Graveside services for George David Tharpe, 80 of Butler will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Mr. Tharpe passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Navicent Health.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Tharpe was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Tharpe and Louise Rushing Tharpe; and sister, Carol Gay Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Pearl Tharpe of Butler; two sons, George Tommy Tharpe of Reynolds and Charles Tharpe of Butler; one daughter, Barbara Greene of Hiram, GA; one brother, Tommy Tharpe of Reynolds; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
