Graveside services for Jackie Lewis Cooper, 75, of Knoxville will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at Roberta City Cemetery. He passed away on March 13, 2021 at Coliseum Hospital.
Mr. Cooper was a member of Masonic Lodge 689 Crawford and the Lizella Masonic Lodge. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Roberta Evangelistic Church. Jackie was Chief of Police of Roberta for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Jackson Cooper and Delora Boren Cooper; son, Jackie Cooper, Jr.; daughters, Margie Bell Cooper and Stephanie Lynn Cooper.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Harriett Anne Cooper of Knoxville; daughter-in-law, Paige Arnold Cooper of Knoxville; two grandsons, Jacob Needham Cooper (Brenda) of Knoxville and John Houston Cooper (Emily) of Macon; two great grandchildren, Nevaeh Barney of Knoxville and Jaxon Cooper of Macon; two brothers, Mark S. Cooper of Byron and Raymond R. Cooper of Knoxville; one sister, Deloris A. Cooper of Knoxville.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the graveside.
