Kimberly Denise Harris

Kimberly Denise Harris,56, of Lizella passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her residence. Memorial services will be private. 

Kim known as “Kimmie” to many always loved to be a caregiver to people in need. Her nursing knowledge provided her with caring skills and a loving heart.

She enjoyed hanging out with Blake and his friends along with Chloe and Kayley. She loved to go fishing, trips to the mountains, hiking and most of all watching the Atlanta Braves. She loved all the children and pets in the family and extended family providing them with so much love. Due to a decline of her health she had to make the decision to give up her precious puppies, Bella Rose and Bambi for adoption to a dear friend of the family. She was an Army Veteran and loved her time spent in Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Ralph Harris; grandparents, Frank and Ruby Harris, Howard Johnson, Sr. and Helen Hendrix; cousin, Linda Sweeney; aunts, Libby Ogletree and Fannie A. Helms; uncles, Larry Johnson, Howard Johnson, Jr. and Bobby Johnson.

Survivors include one brother, Eddie (Lisa) Harris of Musella; one sister, Sonya (Jeff) Bishop of Murfeesboro, TN; nieces and nephews, Blake (Kelly) Harris of Musella, Reese Harris and Halle Harris of Musella, Chloe Bishop  and Kayley Bishop of Murfeesboro, TN; aunt and uncle, Joyce and Jack Wilson; cousins, Kathi (Glenn) Cortes, Ayla Cortes, Austin Cortes, Zach Sweeney, Elaine (Jack) Lucas, Patrick Lucas, Tammy (Gerald) Hall.
