Mitzi Horne

Funeral services for Mitzi Horne, 63, of Roberta will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Roberta United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the church.  Burial will be private.  Mitzi passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Horne, Jr. and Jean Bentley Horne; her sister, Pam Horne Richardson; and her son, Matthew Vining.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Congregational Christian Church.

Mitzi deeply loved her family and friends

Survivors include her daughter, Jenna Vining of Roberta; uncle, Charles Bentley (Myrtle) of Sun City; her by heart grandson, Levi Hammick of Ft. Valley; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who affectionally called her Mit Mit;  cousins and many friends that she considered family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:   Heartland Hospice or Potters House of Women.
