Mr. Luther was without doubt one of the kindest and loving men I have ever met in my lifetime. And shall be known too as the most honest and righteous Mayor Butler GA has ever known in our days. Mama and Daddy sure loved him, and he made saving steak bones fun. I say with no metal reservations that: God has a very special place in heaven for Mr. Luther,....and if they were to garden in heaven,....he'd be put in charge.

Uncle Luther was such a caring, loving man who always had a smile and something good to say. I have such fond memories of visiting him and Aunt Joyce in Butler with Grandmama and Grandaddy. And he was so good to Grandmama over the years. I know that there is a blessed Spillers reunion going on in Heaven now and that God is taking care of all of them. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Charles, Burt, and Deborah.

Charles, Debra, Burt , we knew one day he would leave us to complete the Arthur & Mae Spillers family once again. We know for those who have accepted Christ Jesus that death is not the last sleep, but it is the final awakening.
