Jodi,
Our family was so blessed 30 years ago when you and Jerry married and our families became one. We were so blessed to have Bubba in our lives. I have lots of warm memories of Bubba. I can remember first meeting her and her wonderful welcoming smile and way about her. I remember being in large groups and her being somewhat quiet, but always present. She was quiet, but everyone listened...everyone would flock about her and want to be near her. Maybe that's because she had a way of letting people know that they mattered greatly to her. When you were talking with Bubba, she made you feel like you were the only one In the world at that moment. She was always present. That gentle, calming spirit was enjoyed by so many. When I think about just the right word for it...the only word that comes to mind is love. She exuded pure love, for all of those around her. What a treasure!

I always remember Mrs. Sara smiling and laughing. And how she loved our little Katelyn! Today my heart goes out to Dawn and Allen and all the precious family, and I pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit Himself over you.
I am also so encouraged with a heart full of gratitude that I know that Mrs. Sara is with Jesus. Perhaps by now she has had a moment to glance around and notice who else is there with her--precious, dear, beloved ones who were already there to greet her. Tears flow, yet my heart soars, to think of her renewing her relationship with Katelyn, hugging her again, and their exchanging those beautiful smiles they both have. There is something so very special to me about those who knew her here now being reunited there. How that must make our Savior smile!
